Phoebe Smith
Phoebe graduated from Cardiff University with First Class Honours in Physiotherapy and brings experience across the NHS, private practice and international sport. Her career has included working in New Zealand in private musculoskeletal practice and with Western Springs FC. She currently works with the Football Association of Wales’ Girls’ Regional Academy programme and Women’s Youth National Teams.
Phoebe has particular interests in ACL injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and sports injuries. She enjoys supporting adolescent athletes and adults of all abilities, whether their goal is returning to competitive sport or staying active in everyday life.
Her approach combines personalised exercise and rehabilitation with hands-on treatment where appropriate. She helps patients understand their injury, rebuild confidence and develop the strength needed to return to the activities they enjoy, with an emphasis on long-term health and injury prevention.
As a Welsh international lacrosse player, Phoebe has competed at three World Championships and two European Championships. This gives her first-hand insight into the physical and mental demands of sport, injury and returning to performance.
Phoebe is also studying Sports Nutrition with Mac-Nutrition Uni, with a particular interest in how adequate fuelling supports health, recovery and athletic performance.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys travelling, running, HYROX and almost any sport!
